Ethan is a kindergartener who finds the game of four-square and the playground bully especially challenging. With the help of his third-grade cousin, Lucy, and others, Ethan overcomes bullying and encounters new friends.
This book is beautifully written and I absolutely love the illustrations. The struggles with writing and playground dynamics are portrayed with authenticity, allowing children to see themselves in Ethan's journey.
I brought my two sons along for the review and they found this book about Ethan's adventures in kindergarten both engaging and educational. They really enjoyed it. I think it would be great to add this book to your families collection. It's a must have.
